Does anyone remember around what time/quarter that was? i missed that play and just remembered i wanted to see it. :crazy:

It was alright - Cox kinda ducked/dodge a bit so lucky for him he didn't get a full/direct hit from Berry - otherwise he would have been done for the game.

Cox got owned on that drive I believe. 3 straight big hits on the QB and the last one was all of Dan Williams flattening him.

I don't know if it'll be on youtube or not, but in watching the replay of the game on ESPN360 on EB's fumble return, Janzen hurled himself like a missile at Joe Cox. It's towards the end, a second or two before he gets tackled. Joe Cox slid under Janzen. Had that hit connected, he would still be laying in Neyland right now.

Cox took three nasty shots: first one a plant by Big Dan, the next was Berry's blow up, the last one was another plant by Big Ben. I don't think Cox completed another pass after Big Ben's plant and was replaced soon after.

I bet he's still sore, those were some nasty shots.

The title sounds really.... I am not even going to say it.

I wish it would have said Berry's hit on Cox.

I had the wrong idea about Berry when I read that.

From my angle, I could see Eric lying in wait on that play. He wasn't running full speed at first. It was as if he was thinking "Does he really not see me?"
I think he was a QB spy on that play, then realized he was given a straight-shot at the QB, unnoticed.

IDK but when I saw that it reminded me of that quote Cox had where he said it's not like he'll be scared of Berry or something. Are you scared now Joe?? lol
