Following a breakout freshman campaign, Tennessee sophomore catcher Ethan Bennett has been named to the College Baseball Daily Preseason All-SEC Second Team, the website announced Tuesday.

It's pretty obvious from the SEC preview article accompanying the preseason honor list that the reporter did not bother to learn anything about this year's team. His discussion of pitching doesn't mention Steck or Nick Williams; his discussion of hitting doesn't mention Fritts.

Also, reporter seems unaware that Bennett is being pushed hard by Wes Walker for the catcher job.

That's okay, getting picked last by people who aren't paying attention gives the team more chances to sneak up on people and steal a couple more wins.
