I've been on the Kiffin bandwagon. Every position seems to be up for competition but one. I understand sticking with one guy, but does anyone have a clue as to just how badly Crompton has to play before he would get pulled. Honestly, how much worse could anyone else be? This is so hard to watch. If Stephens could hit a barn he would be an improvement.

i don't get it either.

it is sabotaging the effort of 84 other players who are playing their rear ends off.

and simply put, they can't win with him.

Stephens is worse than JC, I don't see how, but he is. This is a rebuilding year, it's gonna be painful to watch, but it's what we have

The multiple threads that discuss this topic intelligently have been buried. Time after time for struggling teams, the quarterback on the bench has been the better quarterback. I actually believe that a mid-game switch would be more dangerous for the team than people think for reasons outlined in numerous aforementioned posts.

yes, it is.

believe it or not, i feel sorry for tennessee.

as a football fan (not letting my bias get into this), i believe tennessee could be a very good football team if they had a qb who was adequate.

not an all star mind you, just someone who could get the snap from center and complete 55% of his passes.

I'm borderline close to punching a hole through my tv right now. This is the worst performance I've seen in some time.

Forget the fact that he has more INTs than TDs this season, even though 5 of those TDs came against the worst team in 1A. How many times has Crompton fallen on his face this game alone?

Mid game switch or not, don't you risk losing the whole team when you won't even give the other guy a chance, when right now, Crompton is, without a doubt the worst 1A QB?

might as well get used to it. there is always next year or the year after that, or maybe the year after that.

There is simply no way that Stephens could be worse on the field. -15 is not worse than 0. Neither wins.

This season, watching #8 run out there every time, is going to make me hate being a Vols fan.

Most pathetic and ridiculous thing I have ever witnessed.
Can't take it anymore. Another season down the tubes. I will forever hold disdain for JC. I did nothing to take the beating that is involved with watching that sthik.

You're pretty much right.

Pitiful.....

Our senior team leadership
Our quarterback play
Our receiver play, talking back to the coach

Maybe....just maybe if our seniors would get in someones faces and let someone know that the losses are getting old we could come out play.......Guys, in college, leadership is huge. Being fans, I know we get tired of losing. In order for us to win, our players have to get tired of losing and have a winning attitude. I don't see fellows. It's sad. I really don't blame Crompton, he really just can't play. He has no pregame jitters, not just one bad game, the guy just cannot play. UT is not playing sec football right now. More like pop warner. I'll always bleed orange, but I really don't believe some of our players do. I would do anything to have their talent and don the orange and white. Im sorry, I just feel like our offense starts to feel sorry for themselves (with the exception of Montario).

Don't ever say that again.

I'm still not sold. Crompton has the bad habit of making me re-think my anger towards him when he plays like he did in the last 3 minutes.
