I understand UT plans to increase its budget significantly this year. Obviously, we have been good enough to get to the SS, but not beyond. I’m not sure what happened Sunday, but talent definitely was a factor.
We haven't been able to shoot 3's all season which is why we weren't taking that many. That finally caught up with us

Nice pickup. Should be able to improve our 3 point efficiency next season. We projecting him to start? Would be nice if he was a bench piece, but unsure on who else we have coming in next year just yet.

Put this in perspective with a grain of salt -
Gillespie from 3 this year: 103 - 305 for 33.8%
Lundblade from 3 this year: 115-283 for 40.6%
That's 12 more made 3s in 22 less attempts
We lost a lot of close games this past year on shooting alone - this covers the Kentucky losses, the Vandy loss, the Alabama loss, the Missouri loss etc.

Grain of salt - JG played both the 1 and the 2 which Lundblade obviously would not do.

Bottom line - this is a HUGE get!

Not sure I would expect him to start, if his defence is below par. Still, I would expect him to come in, like Hero for Kentucky, and put a dagger in the other team's heart.

This is a good start. Hopefully, Barnes can get some more shooters who can play defense.

True, but Dalton did have a noticeable amount more athleticism than Lundblade does on tape. Different players, but DK really popped on film. He had some insane dunks at Northern Colorado.
Not to say he isn’t a big addition - I think he is - but I think Lundblade maybe more of a role player.

In droves, yes. He’s an elite shooter. I don’t want people to take my comment the wrong way - like he won’t be extremely valuable to the team. Just compared to DK
He has a quick shot and can shoot the 3 no doubt. Barnes will help him with his D. That can definitely be improved.

He will space the floor that is certain which will create both driving lanes and post offense.
