• Alabama fans are glad Pete Golding is leaving for Ole Miss.
• If the NCAA, the SEC, and the Alabama compliance office give the OK, then Saban would hire him.

Madoff was a criminal who ruined thousands of lives. Pruitt was an elite DC with multiple rings and a few recruiter of the year awards, who then turned into a ****** head football coach. It’s not the first time great coordinators have become garbage head coaches, it won’t be the last either….

Either way Madoff and Pruitt have less than zero to do with each other.

Only problem with hiring Pruitt is the NCAA may hit him with a show cause. In fact they should. Saban doesn’t have Emmert there to fix that. However rules have never stopped Nick before.

The thing is saban is the defensive coordinator and db coach. His db's have underperformed the past two years and that is on nick. He can make all the excuses he wants but needs to look at himself. He reeled in six five stars this past class and shall see how they work out. Qb's next year are a question mark and OL was not good this year.

A lot is made of the Tennessee fan base's beef with ESPN, but Bama has it as bad if not more with Fulmer.

Golding never had the defensive talent while at Bama that Pruitt inherited from Kirby Smart. When TooToo is your best LB for 2 years running how does that compare to Rueben Foster and the other monsters @ LB they had then? DB's? Bama had a run of DBs that are NFL stars during Pruitt's time. How are they now? Average at best. And DL, Alabama isnt near what they have been the last several years on the LOS. Smart recruited far better talent during his time than Pruitt did at Bama....Add to it, Alabama's offensive scheme did change.

Pruitt's defense couldnt stop Clemson (Saban's words, not mine) during Pruitts tenure. I also add that Pruitts defenses didnt shut Jones offenses down very well while he was at Georgia.

This is so true. I remember postgame comments he gave where he literally said they ran the exact same plays that day that he ran against the team when he was at Bama and he was butthurt it didn’t work. Also recall him bashing our players constantly. So glad that jackass is no longer head coach.
