I've stated several times today that I'm done with Dooley. Once the emotions settled down and sense was able to make rent in my mind....

What if Wilcox stays. What if we stop MSU, UGA, and SC, and possibly UF. With a good defense we are realistically 8-1. What do I say then? Give Dooley an extension.... absolutely.

What I really have to consider, though, is that Dooley did his job for 3 years. He is a great recruiter and a class act. He's kept our players out of trouble for the most part. He's done a lot of good things at this university. But, I truly believe that is all he is able to do.

We are back. Our talent and depth is as good at it has been in the last 7-8 years. It's time for someone to take this program by the horns and set blaze to the rest of the nation, and it's not our current staff

Agreed. I really wanted Dooley to succeed, but it's not happening.

I'm thankful he has brought our talent level up, but it's obvious he's not ready for a team like UT. He's still learning on the job. He has potential to be a good coach, but just not ready for a team like ours.

What?? Are you kidding me? You are done with dd, we are 1-0 now in season 2. I would see your point if we were 4-5, have zero SEC wins this year and once again went winless in October. We could be on our way to winning the SEC moral victory championship.

He's a good recruiter, not great but better than mediocre. There.

Better than mediocre, less than great. I'll give you a solid good. He is working with the highest recruiting budget in the country as well, which helps.

CDD has basically been on the hotseat the moment he stepped on campus. I've got to assume the majority of our recruits either don't have internet connections or are bright enough to steer clear of VN.

The problem is that CDD hired Sunseri which shows EXTREMELY poor judgement. If he fired Sunseri today/tomorrow, then he would be showing good judgement.

According to rivals we are 9th in the SEC. Also, you do realize these change quite a bit before national signing day right?

Good grief, how can the people in this thread defend and want that incompetent back next year. To quote the wizard "you are what your record says you are". The most inept coaching I have ever seen. What will it take to open your eyes? Maybe an ass whipping by Vandy will do it. How can you guys defend the indefensible? Just unreal.
