Weren’t we still considered as number 1 seed in the west over NC before the tournaments?
If the commitee wants to factor in the tournament play then they gotta factor in that we BEAT :
SEC champ
ACC champ
B10 champ

It was close but we had the edge heading into it.
The reason I ask because if they use tournament play as part of their selection, they would have to factor that TN beat 3 champ teams
And if they want to disregard that.. they gotta stick with regular season play and give TN that 1st

It would have been nice to get the #1 seed for historical significance, but I believe a #2 seed playing the first two rounds in Charlotte will be a plus. More UT fans can make it and the first two rounds are definitely winnable. I was just down in Charlotte for a Men's conference and the area is very nice.
Have a blessed day.

Simple, they don't consider the tournaments. If they did Auburn would have got a higher seeding. Iowa State would have been a 1 seed. UK would not have been a 3 seed and UT would not have been the top 2 seed.
