I'm looking to make a beer pong table. I would like for it to have something to do with the Vols on it. I've seen one before that was the football field, but it was painted and looked like it took way to much time..does anyone have any ideas?

Also, does anyone know how i would go about making one?

Just use a ping pong table. Or use a pool table and put something over it. It's just too easy

Did the same thing with my buddies at Oregon State, we went down to Home Depot. Particle board top, and some 2x4's as the legs. Spray painted the top. They had an OSU decal we used for the top.

So you throw a ping pong ball in the other teams cup of beer. When you do that does the other team member then drink that beer? I assume it's the next teams turn to chunk a ball and opponent drinks the beer with the ball in it. Is the game over when all the cups have been drunk? The rules vkb kindly supplied said there are two water cups but doesn't describe the purpose of the water glasses. Guess I need to research this game further.

You can play with water in the cups and just take a heft chug of a beer out of cup, bottle, can. That's what we always did.

Speaking of Beer Pong where I live, its popularity has passed. These cats now play cornhole.

for any painters out there, would it be possible to paint a particle board with a glossy paint to make it look good?

does anyone have anymore suggestions about wood type?

Yeah, if you put a nice finish on it, you can make anything shiny. But it's important to have a good, tough resilient surface for bounce shots. If you've ever played on something soft, then it completely takes out that element of the game.

I like particle board because it works well and is relatively light weight.

Yes, I take beer pong way too seriously. Part of me regrets not going to a state school.

ok, well i can't figure it out..But, it's black with orange trim around it. big T in the middle, and I'm thinking about putting 2 small Tennessee logos on each side, just not sure yet. Then it has where you place the cups outlined in orange also. anyone have any suggestions on what i should add or remove?
