Me and the new wife just got back from our vacation/honeymoon in Hawaii. Been gone for almost 2 weeks because she also has family on the island so we made the first week a honeymoon and the second one basicay a vacation..lol...First time I've been down there and I loved it! It was actualy cooler down there and than it was here in Indy during part of the time, go figure. Couldn't wait to get back on VN and getting realy pumped about the upcoming season and I see ALOT has went on since I was gone.

1. What the hell was Coker thinking?? - This really bumed me out plus pissed me off. I'm so sick of these talented kids wasting thier life with drugs and stupid stuff. This kid had a ton of talent and had a real good shot of playing on Sunday's....pathetic.

2. New Members & Features on VN!- So I see alot of new names and posters around here! That's great! I'm also glad to see the radio show is back and better than ever. I also see we have some new sponsors and a new banner coming soon....looks like freak has been pretty busy!

3. Bye Bye HR Record- Who says cheating doesn't pay off?? Sad day for MLB in my mind.

4 Married Life- Great so far but it should be since it's only 2 weeks into it...lol....I've got a great girl that is 5 times out of my league so life is good!

5. IT'S FOOTBALL TIME!!- Enough said!

Good to be back gang! I hope tidwell didn't mis me too much..lol :eek:lol:

Hmm...

The wife goes to Indy Monday for surgery on her kidney stones. They're going through her back and she be in the hospital at least overnite and then have a tube in her back for a week. Then on the 21st I have a colonoscopy. What a crappy month. Between that and work I haven't had a chance to get on here forever it seems.

Hey everyone! Man does it feel good to be back on Vol Nation! Most of you remember about a month ago my wife had to have a kidney stone removed through the back. Well she was feeling alot better and then last Tuesday nite I had to rush her to the ER because her appedix ruptured. :( We was VERY lucky they caught it in time, she got out of the hosptiol Friday nite and is home recovering. This makes her 3rd surgery this year already so it's been a awful 2006 so far. Factor that with I've been having this dull pain in my lower side for the past two months and they don't know what it is yet. I go to the doctor tommorow to find out the latest test results. Been a pretty rough year.

On a side note, love the new look on VN main page! Great job freak but what happened to the black skin on the board??

Glad you had fun in Hawaii, Rocky Top. My brother's wife lives down there and I'll be visiting the islands next year..

Don't care that much, just wondered why you blatantly lied about it. Thanks. :good!:

Glad you're back. Hawaii is the finest place I've ever been and as close to "heaven on earth" that I think a person can find. My wife and I got married on the beach in Maui and are eagerly awaiting a return trip someday. . . .(KIDS!)

1. He wasn't. Sad when the world is a kid's oyster and he has to go get a little bite from Captain D's.

2. It's always nice to have some new perspective. Of course, there's the traditional slew of trash-talkers and trolls, but we can always hope to round up a few regulars to add readable commentary.

3. We'll see how this pans out. What we know, so far, is that not many people really care and that most everybody thinks he cheated. The TV ratings were pitiful and the memorabilia is supposedly not expected to reach the value that it would had the record not been tainted. My take is that long-time baseball fans will look not only at numbers but the storied past of baseball and who really changed the game (for the better).

4. Always great to find a "better half!" Enjoy the newlywed stage and take your time before having kids.

5. GO VOLS.
