all im sayin is i guess im just a sec homer. i think right now fla, bama, and ole miss are top 5 team. as mush as i hate to say it being we play all 3 on the road next year, i just think usc is a tad bit overrated.

He is a fast, big hitter, just like taylor mays at USC. Great pickup! He will put on weight and muscle under Coach O.

Looks like things are going faster than I thought, give it 1 or 2 years and the Vols will be back in the NC hunt! Posters on our USC board are asking when USC will play the Vols...the reasons being:

1. Kiffin vs. Carroll the mentor
2. Kiffin is on his honeymoon, loss is OK, win = WHOA!!

Hope it can be worked out. We played Arkansas and Auburn a few years back.

No, it's nice to have knowledgeable fans from other teams post here rather than the typical homer's we get sometimes. Please stick around, it's good to get an outside, unbiased perspective on how our coaches/team is doing through regular season and off season. I view everything through orange colored glasses so it's hard to see what's really going on sometimes.

I admire USC's program for everything they've accomplished under Coach Carroll, and you're always welcome on our board. However, I think its time that we ALL give Florida and Tim Tebow the respect they're due. I'm sure USC would have given them all they could handle HAD there been a playoff of some sort; given the current system, we can only speculate. OU was a great football team and Florida made them look average. Best of luck to the Trojans in 2009.

Great post...I would love a chance to play USC again...One of my most heart breaking games was against them in 1980...We were driving for the winning FG when some guy named Jeff Fisher :banghead2: Yeah that guy, intercepted the ball and USC kicked the game winner with 1 second left...You guys had a pretty good freshman RB by the name of Marcus Allen in that game :wink2: The week before WE played UGA with another decent freshman RB by the name of Herchel Walker...Damn that was a meat grinder of a schedule that year:salute:

Welcome, nice first post.

I agree with your hatred, except I also dislike Michigan and Penn st...more than UCLA Miami and Florida. I really just hate the big 10 that much. Obviously around here we also hate bama and florida ;p

I agree with your assessment and I would love to play USC in a few years. I have admired the USC program since PC has gotten there...very competitive year in and year out. I hope Kiffin gets us to that level.
