Field position will play key....Just like you said, get a couple of first downs and at least if you don't score maybe try to pin them deep, just don't give up a big play on ST...YIKESCLKs gameplan is more important than Montes, IMO.
If this game turns into a low scoring/ D dominating game. A good series may look like 2 first downs, and a punt. Even when we do not score, we have to have the ball more than 3 plays. 3 and outs lead to bad field position over time. They will move the ball some on us, but we tighten up well when the field gets shorter. ( More FGs than TDs )
For us to win we have to mantain the ball early, and save our D as much as possible.
