If we can shut down the Tide's running game we'll beat Bama. McElroy is still a young QB in my eyes. I think we matchup very well with them in the secondary.

We may play well against the run, but will not shut it down. I like us when they pass.

McElroy will be in trouble with our secondary .... especially Berry, we have be pretty good stoping the run so i still say we got a chance to win by 3

If our OL can give JC 3 seconds, and open a few lanes to run, the game could be fun.

CLKs gameplan is more important than Montes, IMO.

If this game turns into a low scoring/ D dominating game. A good series may look like 2 first downs, and a punt. Even when we do not score, we have to have the ball more than 3 plays. 3 and outs lead to bad field position over time. They will move the ball some on us, but we tighten up well when the field gets shorter. ( More FGs than TDs )

For us to win we have to mantain the ball early, and save our D as much as possible.

Field position will play key....Just like you said, get a couple of first downs and at least if you don't score maybe try to pin them deep, just don't give up a big play on ST...YIKES

Bama blitzs a lot on passing downs. Need to hit big plays one on one.

It will be hard to drive the ball on them. Need big chunks at a time.

just hope bama beats south Carolina to tonight. It will be much sweeter victory to beat #2 team next week.

You have to play the run well enough to put them in passing downs.

We have been fair at stopping the run and I hope we can stop them from gaining big on first downs, that I think is a key.... sorry bout previous post, guess it was my feeble attempt at being funny

Unless Bama doesn't by chance blow out SCar tonight, they will probably be #1 in the BCS as bad as Florida played this afternoon but then again you never know...JMO

I think you play some no huddle on Bama and wear down Cody with shuttle passes, quick slants and middle screens.

JC will not be able to roll out often against the Tide.

That worked well against UGA, because they had to stack up to stop the run. Bama will not do that til you make them. They tend to stop the run with 7. If you can find a way to make them commit more to the run, you can roll out more.
