Florida has been watching us all year hoping we stumble. If we win today it will dash all their hopes. If we win today the LSU forfeit will be all for nothing. I hope we make some gators cry today.

Gators are relying on A&M to fight their battles... let's beat them again...

What's sad is that Foley has managed to pull this crap on the conference. They played HS football in Gainesville last night. The UF volleyball team carried on as scheduled. There's simply no sane, logical or viable reason for UF to bail on this game. UF/Foley are ducking LSU. They know...KNOW...they can't beat LSU right now. This is pathetic and the other conference ADs should be burning up the phones and taking to the media in protest. It can't be allowed to stand.

Lsu and UT need to bring legal action against Florida and the sec -- for big money!

We split these next two games at worst, that's insurance. Of course I want to win them both but that's just how I look at it. If Florida loses another game this season then this LSU/Florida debacle takes care of itself.

All that being said, I absolutely feel for everybody that Hurricane Matthew has and will effect but it amazes me that every other game in the state of Florida is being played some how, some way, this weekend except this one.

Per Weather Underground Site, Gainesville got a whopping 1.05 inches of rain yesterday.
Forecast today - Sunny and 89.

Bulls*^* Meter is broken so no reading.

I get your reasoning but other than maybe post season nothing is better than actually beating Florida.

I thought it was declared Florida can't go to Atlanta unless they play 8 SEC games like everyone else?

The sec needs to issue an official legal ruling on this matter ASAP

Absolutely, if this is true, then why not come out with an official statement? I've only seen the 8 win thing on here from several posters. It seems legit though

The Swamp requires the infrastructure, water, food, doctors, etc. of a small city. Who attends soccer games, etc? Little to no resources required.

To stage an NCAA DivI game of that size, forcing resources to be redirected when there are many now homeless, without food, water, etc. is highly irresponsible.

That said, they might could have played the game with no fans attending, if LSU could have gotten the team gear into Gainesville, or the Gators could get moved to Baton Rouge. The logistics are a nightmare.

UF and LSU seem to be at fault here. It's the rest of the SEC and League higher ups that must make this game happen at one time or the other. Lots of money and league prestige at stake. With other games in Miami and other places in Fla. going on form Friday through Sunday this must be made right.

LSU agreed to potentially play without a crowd, I believe at any location.
