Who wouldn't have taken that when we were down 13-3 to appy state?

Only Ohio state is as deep as Alabama. We aren't, even w/out injuries. Yesterday's result was predictable. And a fair picture of what Butch has to work with compared to Saban.

Highly likely we go 11-2 or 11-3. That's a fantastic accomplishment. Our coaches and boys deserve praise and support.

Big picture speaking you are spot on. However, the embarrassing performance yesterday should not be taken lightly or overlooked. Many aspects of our program were exposed (depth, game planning, fundamentals and even effort). Winning out won't be as easy as just rolling out the ball and saying have it at it boys. This team needs to re focus and heal up quick. Another loss in the regular season would be a huge blow to the program.

Boils down to quality of depth, which Jones has had 4 years to build. I dont believe this team wins out, the injuries will be to much to overcome even against teams like Missouri and south Carolina.

As I stated in a another thread, we are anywhere from 80%-99% favorite in our final 5 games, but when you factor the cumulative probabilities of winning out, we only have a 60% chance. Given I am attending the Vandy game this year, that will probably be a loss.

Good news is FL only has a 2% chance of winning out.

They also play FSU, and a loss to them doesn't help us.

We've got to get healthy or it won't matter anyway. Any of our remaining SEC opponents are capable of beating the team we fielded yesterday and I think one of them will.

If we can get healthy we will win out.

Dude..those teams blow.

I think most fans aren't concerned as much about the team South Carolina fields. But rather the odd fact that somehow Muschamp has found ways to beat Butch with inferior teams. I for one think this changes in a big way and our team beats USCjr handily.

The team we fielded yesterday isn't blowing out anybody. If we can't get healthy we will be fortunate to win.

With the injuries that brings this staff down to those teams level. Talent covered for CBJ and company through the first 5 games, now recruiting lapses and coaching inadequacies are starting to show. I would bet Tennessee loses 2 more before I would bet they run the table.

I think this team is going to struggle on offense in 2 weeks at South Carolina. And given the holes in the defense right now, UT can make just about anybody look like a chip kelly oregon team. No one has blown SC out this year and if you think they're not sound defensively then you haven't been paying attention.

Lololololololololol

You serious Clark?!?!

Dead serious and I hope I'm wrong and can eat crow. South Carolina has a legitimate defense. Mizzou can throw the ball all over the yard, where has UT struggled the most this year on defense? How about the secondary.

I hope so! But until we get some key players back i dont share your enthusiasm. I don't think this staff can get the team we saw yesterday through the rest of the season.

They played UGA as well as we did. We easily could have lost to App St. Outside of Tn Tech nothing's a gimme.

UGA is trash. Only bright spot is Eason. Anyone who wants to bet on us losing to Vandy, I'm here. Literally got retards in here. "I will be attending the Vandy game, which we will lose....." I forgot how idiotic and stupid folks are after a loss.

So, if UGA is trash then why did it take a miracle hail mary for us to win? And again that guy was joking that his presence at the game would effect the outcome. Its a damn joke.

Game planning wasn't the problem yesterday. It was simply we did not have enough depth to replace all the starters and second team players to compete against the #1 team. When you have to burn a freshman red shirt to play, it tells us the positions where recruiting has to focus. Mama has recruited the #1 class in the Nation for the last 5-6 years. They run off better players than 90% of the teams can recruit during out of high school. When a Bama player is injured, they replace him with a jr. or sr. 4-5 star recruit who has not been selected to let go to some other team. I agree with those who are asking for a revision in the scheduling of the SEC West and East teams. There is no sane reason why any team in the Eastern Division should be required to play the #1 team in the Nation every year when the other East teams play them once every 5-6 years.

Let's look at facts!

Most everyone at the beginning of the season was predicting 1 to 2 losses. I thought 1 (A&M). It figures that A&M would be at the top of the west the year we get them on the schedule. Still had a chance to win that game! No one expected this many injuries. Let's be honest, the past 2 yrs we've been pretty injury free but now they are hitting all at the same time. We've got 2 weeks off to get ready to finish out with 5 wins in a row and head to Atlanta with an East championship. (Florida will lose 1 game so no worries).

If we get to 11 wins, which I think we will, then that's another season where CBJ and company have added 2 more over the previous year.
5-7
7-5
9-4
11-3 or 12-2? I'll take it heading into 2017!

We needed a bye week badly.
That game yesterday was a result of bad scheduling and too many injuries.

What makes you think Mizzou and South Carolina are so healthy and deep?

Our offense can score on their defense. Even with our injuries on D, we still will stop their terrible offense. Both teams.

We're going to Atlanta... all this crap you and other people keep posting about is useless.

We lick our wounds with a week off.
Kids have short memories.
Butch is a great motivator.
And they've got the tapes of the UF and UGA wins.

UTs secondary is terrible, UT ranks last in the conference in a number of defensive categories. By the way whos going to start on the Oline in 2 weeks? Our current offensive coordinator and head coach are determined to make Dobbs a pocket passer which he is not. I don't trust this staff to get us through the last 5 games with the current state of the team. Carolina has a very good defense and Muschamp like it or not owns Jones.

And why is it useless to present information and point out observations? Because god forbid I dont agree with your opinion and god forbid we have a grown up conversation without people like you throwing a damn fit because it hurts your feelings
