Yes, Im drinking some kool aid, but realistically we can beat alabama. Yes, I'm saying there is a chance. I'm not kidding myself enough to think that we come close to them talent wise or have the depth they have. I know theyre Miles better than LSU (pun intended) and Florida, but dont count us out. We always play to the level of our opponent, be it up or down. We've managed to sustain it for a half against Oregon, 3 quarters against Florida, and 99 percent of the game against LSU. See a pattern here? (Yes I know how the UAB game went. That was a matter of underestimating the opponent IMO. We were on the cusp of it last year and a lot of these guys (particularly on defense remember this). This team has enough heart in Nick Reveiz alone to do it.

Call me Lloyd Christmas, but I'm saying there's a chance.

GBO and let's build some momentum against UGA this weekend!

there's no way in **** we beat bama. our d looks like a train wreck in progress at stopping the run. i like your positivity but i cant think of one position where were better than bama. i will be happy if we come within 14 points

beat Bama by 1 at the last minute...to pay back last year's heartbreaker.

A win against the great evil empire to T-Town would indeed bring a lot of much needed healing to my wounded soul.

This team impresses me with its heart more than any UT team since Al Wilson wore the Jersey FWIW. They are young men growing up really quickly. If only we had a few more to sustain the effort.

Give CDD the time, he will give us the Championship. I am more convinced of that now than I was before Saturday.

technically there's always a chance......but this year it's an extremely long shot in the dark. comparing the tide to the vols is like apples and oranges right now.

you are a complete idiot if you think we can beat bama.

People were saying the exact same thing last year. I fail to see that much of a difference between last years Bama and this years, except that Bama lost Rolando McClain, Mount Cody, Javier Arenas, etc. Also most said that LSU would destroy us.

Good luck with that. Bama is the toughest they have been in years

i dont ever remember bama being this dominate on both sides of the ball and their freakin recruiting classes are staying in the top 3. i just pray saban gets bored and goes to the cowboys when they fire piggy

I'm not sure if there is any possible circumstance in which we shut down Ingram and Richardson enough to win.

last year's ut team was also better than the one this year. there's a difference.

In addition to the fact that they are much, much better than we are, I doubt they'll come out and play poorly after what happened last year.

No we can't and the idea is ridiculous.

Point taken on what most of you have said, just trying to be a posi-vol since yesterday eradicated most of them. Most things said are literally the exact same things said last year about the game.

It would be remembered by all of us with great joy, long after we had forgotten even our own names in the nursing home:dance2:

I don't see us beating Alabama. We're doing ok so far, but after seeing what they did to Florida we are going to have one heck of an opponent that week.
