I remember back in 1976 when then Head Coach Bill Battle stepped up to the media room in Knoxville and said, Quote "I can no longer rally the Tennessee people" I'm going to step aside so that the University can look at other options for the program.
Bill Battle was a "Man" who understood what needed to be done. I admire him for what he did for Tennessee and he will always be known as a winner.
Its time that Coach Fulmer makes the right call for himself first and the University as a whole. As Vol fans across this nation, we want to remember him as a great leader who took great Tennessee Pride to the next level. We don't want to remember him as person who drove the program into the ground.
Coach Fulmer, I ask for you to step up and do the right thing before time runs out.
I have been a huge supporter of yours and the program for over 40 years.
I've giving money when there were times that I reallly couldn't afford it. However, I beleived in you and the staff would get it done.
Put Ego and Pride on the back burner and help us move forward in a different direction.
My loyalty to the program has been since 1967 when we started sitting in Section B, I was 6 years old and have only missed 4 home games since then. We drive from Hendersonville, Tennessee and beleive me it takes its toll on you after awhile.
I will always support this University as long as I can. I beleive that there are better days ahead for us.

Sincerely,
