7-3... and LSU dominated play every bit as much as Arkansas did. That is exactly what happened whether you want to carry on your delusion or not. Auburn was looking ahead to UF. Arkansas certainly took it to them... but you're a fool if you think you got Auburn's best game.
You aren't comparing to those teams. Those teams went O-fer against OU. Texas is one of the 2 or 3 most talented teams in the country right now. Arkansas isn't one of the top 3 most talented teams in the SEC.Arkansas vs. Texas is always a close game. Remember our last series a few years back...people said that we didn't have the talent back then either but we went 1-1. Should have one both games.
That's the one accurate thing you've written. But that is neither here nor there.
Texas has played about as good of a schedule as Arkansas. Who have you beaten besides Auburn? SEMO? La Monroe? Bama?Texas has beaten OU and Nebraska...but come on OU is weak and Nebraska isn't so hot either.

Let's put it this way, OU would have beaten anyone that you've beaten except for maybe Auburn. Texas probably would've beaten everyone you've beaten and maybe even USC.
BTW, USC beat you all much worse than they beat Nebraska at home. Nebraska was at least game.
I don't know what your record says about talent levels, but Auburn, Florida, and LSU are the most talented teams in the SEC, with LSU out in front in my estimation.
EDIT: When did this thread become about Arkansas?
No it doesn't. You have one quality win in conference against a team that was looking ahead. Not in the Top 3 talented teams in the SEC? Our record says different.
And you aren't going to convince anyone who doesn't wear one of those stupid looking plastic pigs on their head that Texas isn't a much more talented football team than Arkansas. You aren't going to convince me that going 5-0 in the SEC is the same as going 5-0 in the Big 12...a la Texas.
And that makes it better?USC was only up by 10 at half if I remember correctly.
Some other Hog fans said something about playing with what you have. BTW, you helped me prove my point about coaching.Would have been a better game if McFadden wasn't hurt and we didn't play Johnson at QB, but that can't be changed now.
Which really doesn't help you guys at all... or the SEC as a whole if you do in fact win the conference. The Pac10 and their media fans will say "See there, a weak Pac10 team beat the best team in the SEC". For that reason alone, I'd like to see Arkansas lose out. Nothing in particular against the Hogs... they're just making the SEC look bad.And USC has looked really weak the past month (Oregon State).
i must admit a little bias for the cotton...living in the dfw area gives me a chance to see the vols in action....weather can be fickle...i sat on a sheet of ice watching us get abused by kansas st and two years ago we torched tex a/m under cloudy skies and balmy 65 degrees.
man one good season and people will make a bronze statue of Houston Nutt in Arky with McFadden cradled in his arms. If LSU takes McFadden out of the game they will win. And by out I do not mean injured. That is the best defense that Arky will face all year
If your Offense can put up 24 points on them I think that we will be just fine.
Our situation gets better every week.
