Alright, how many of my Birmingham VOLS are going to the KY/PITT game this Saturday? I'm planning to be there dressed in Orange!! We need an orange section... I went last year when S. Carolina played and their fans were seriously disturbed that I was in orange (especially since we creamed them last year)... Planning to do the same to KY fans, just wondering who's with me?

A few days ago I saw a report where only 6,000 tickets or so had been sold and UK was 2/3rd of those. You should have an easy time finding a seat. If you could get a few more fans you could outnumber Pitt and UK.

Not sure I could sit through a UK/Pitt matchup. Change the P to an S and you have what Pitt is right now. Not to mention UK just had a huge letdown season. I think I would rather watch the UA or AA game on TV.

Oh I know, last year It was the same, we basically sat wherever we wanted. We are going just to be going. Tix were free and really just wanna see how bad both teams are gonna be... I actually found a bunch of VOLS there last year and was hoping to do the same this year. Nothing like watching a non-VOL game on tv and the camera pans the crowd and finds an all orange section!! LOL

I'm pretty sure that was the "clean" version... We get the point though...

Watch out. I doubt the structural integrity of Legion Field.

I live around Birmingham and I won't even go to this game. Legion Field has already fell apart once and its in the ghetto. I did hear them say today though that this bowl will get the SEC pick over the liberty bowl next year. To show you how bad this game is, Legion Field sold almost twice as many seats to the Magic City classic last year.

Totally agree about it being in the ghetto... Last year all the thugs were nowhere to be found that early in the morning especially with all the cops everywhere!
