by DraftExpress: DraftExpress: Top NBA Draft Prospects in the SEC (Part One: #1-5)

Talks about his athleticism, defense and passing ability, and mentions his need to improve on his ball-handling skills and perimeter shooting to fully make the transition to playing the 3 in the NBA.

Also ranked in the top 15, Wayne Chism at 12 and JP Prince at 13: DraftExpress: Top NBA Draft Prospects in the SEC (Part Three: #11-15)

There's a very detailed analysis of each player included as well.

No freshman, so no Scotty.

Good news right now feels like a cold beer after a day of summer yard work.

Had he been projected so well this time last year, I would been a tad dismayed over losing him. This year, we expect him to leave and are recruiting his scholly. So I say the higher Tyler gets drafted, the better! Good for him personally and for the program.

Maybe I am just an idiot, but there is no way Ogilvy is a better prospect than Patterson.

Ogilvy is a true center at 7-feet or close to it. He's also pretty mobile, very skilled, and was incredibly productive for a freshman. Those guys don't grow on trees in college basketball. No question that Patterson is good too, though. It's just that it's a lot easier to find 6-8 PFs than it is back to the basket centers.

If Chism comes out of that shell he has and just performs like i know he can he will be gone after this season. He needs to be smacked like crazy or something to get him out of this shell

2011-2012 will be our best team ever

it would help if he could keep from picking up the very early and quick stupid fouls too...

Yea, part of that is the SEC officiating though, they are quick to blow their whistle whenever there is the slightest hint of contact.. they are also bad at trying to control games way too much and taking the excitement away from the game and turning the attention to themselves.. the king of this is... Ted Valentine.. cant stand that man

So part of the problem is calling the cheap foul and not the actual committing of the cheap foul?
