Fox has given a first season, 12 episode straight to series order for a Baywatch Reboot/Sequel series.

Premise
Wild-child Hobie (Amell) serves as a Baywatch Captain, following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Mitch. Hobie’s world is turned upside down when daughter Charlie (Belkin) shows up on his doorstep eager to carry on the Buchannon family legacy.

Stephen Amell (Arrow, Suits: LA) as Hobie Buchannon (son of Mitch Buchannon, David Hasselhoff in the original series run)

Looks like a good cast from the female standpoint. I guess Amells wrestling show on Starz got canceled. I don't know if it will last but a couple of seasons due to nostalgia, but,ya know, I guess I could watch it out of boredom and the name.
