Let's just do it. It's on all our minds. A lot of people are only going to buy one and need to know which. I'll begin the debate with a simple declaration of truth:

Vehicles > No Vehicles

Teamwork > No Teamwork

Have fun, I've gotta get back to noob toobin'.

Due to absolutely no weapon sway or bullet trajectory physics in COD and it being very well done in BF3, I would say yes.

This is going to be a really dumb question, but is BF3's online gameplay still similar to the Battlefield 1942-3 style of capturing waypoints and eliminating the other team's tickets, or is it all deathmatch and capture-the-flag now? I'm pretty terrible at shooters, but I do enjoy them, and I feel like that style would be better for someone who's never going to lead in kills.

There are muliple game modes including: conquest, TDM, Rush(you attack or defend two MCOMs and when the attackers destroy those MCOMs the map opens up and the defenders are pushed back), and hardcore....probably forgetting some modes though.

Not dumb at all, there is a team deathmatch mode. Conquest is where you capture 3 or 4 waypoints/flags and eliminate the other teams tickets.

Also if vehicles arent your thing, you can also select the "Infantry Only" servers and there will be no vehicles.

Bear, could those guys be using a "pod" as my friend called it? He plays bf3 on PC and I asked him how their spm could be so high and already rank 99. He said it could give them the ability to type in their score and rank, and allow them to shoot through anything and kill people instantly. He really wasnt for sure though

Shoulda posted this in bf3 thread.

Im probably still getting cod. But beside the vehicles in bf3, you can also shot objects and they fall apart. enemy behind the wall? just blow the building apart. Got to love it.

Only Thing i can't do is fly worth a flip. Can any of you fly the jets or helis in conquest and actually be of use?

Obviously, when playable area of a given map is comparable to the square mileage of the state of Deleware, vehicles are going to be a must. I played the BF3 beta and just found it boring beyond all belief. Too much running just to get to the combat before you ever get in on the action.

I agree 100% with your second point, but saying that teamwork doesn't take place on COD is just wrong. Maybe if all you play is TD with randoms who have no mics, but when you play objective gametypes with a group of friends who all have mics, teamwork is necessary and commonplace.
