Maryville owns Alcoa historically (62-25-3= .706) more than UT owns Vandy, but Alcoa likes to talk a lot. That's the synopsis in a nutshell. In all seriousness, it is East Tennessee's best rivalry.

That’s probably because Maryville has about 3 times the kids that Alcoa does. I think it’s a credit to Alcoa that they can compete with the bigger public schools in Tennessee.
