I thought the trophy was going to look more like a dog shredding into a chicken leg, but this will do.

Looks good, I think BaB put on a contest for a fan to design it. I wonder who the lucky winner was.

I designed it along with one of the artists that I work with. They changed the final design from our original. The stem and football were originally going to be crystal. That part of it came from our sears nc trophy. It was going to curve to mimic the racetrack and lead up to the ball, but they trophy maker was unable to reproduce it.It ended up looking more like the Lombardi than I wanted but hey what can you do. The wood is made from a Tennessee hardwood. It's hard to see on the stem, but there is a checker board running up both sides. This trophy was designed by a Vol, voted on by Volnation, and made for The Vols to bring home to Knoxville.

I figured it would be a pic of Smokey carrying a dead turkey by its neck. I didn't think there would be an actual trophy.

I thought I would share a few other pictures from today. They were installing the panels on Colossus. They were showing samples of the support and power cables. The support cables are 43 pounds per foot. I asked what guage the power cords were and the response was B.A.G. Big ass guage hahaha. Also, they are building the field up 3 feet. 450 truckloads will be brought in. Pretty impressive stuff

Nice work on the trophy!

Serious question, how much zoom were you using on the sideline pic from the stands?
