I know they had the lottery, etc today...but from what I hear it's been tough.

SO...I just bought five in the Kulwicki section from the VA Tech ticket office online. $80 each.

SO...if you want to go and don't mind turning the Hokie section all Vol... better hurry.

I ordered mine about 5:00.

I have season tix, but when I tried to pre-order when they first came out I waited too long...so this was my next best option.

It appears the Va Tech fanbase isn't too excited about the game, since they still have tickets as of today.

Beamer has them bummed out, ECU has a winning streak against them.

Sad face

"The allocation of tickets reserved for Virginia Tech sales for the Battle of Bristol have been exhausted. Based on sales quantities from our donor and season ticket holder pre-sale and our public sale that began at 10am on 10/2 we have filled our allocation. If for any reason we should have any additional tickets to sell, the earliest they would become available is late spring/early summer 2016. At that time we will communicate any availability to our fan base through all available outlets."

After seeing this later last night, went into the site and clicked on Tickets, then Battle at Bristol, then it asks for number of tix and gives a code to type in for verification...it was going to allow me to buy two more. May want to try again. Not sure if they are still available, but we used to live in Bristol and a friend tried this at 11:00 and ordered 8. Worth a try.

I just called the number on the email 866-974-1643, the gentleman said it would be held in about an hour. He said everyone would get an email regardless if you were drawn, or not. I hope all VOLS are drawn, and Hokie High gets left out. My brother-in-law is a huge VT fan so that would make it that much better.

There were only a limited amount of tix left. So apparently they put all of the people who wanted tickets to the game in a hat and will only select random people to receive their tickets. I hope I get picked, this is gonna be a big time atmosphere.

Not all of them, only the ones that reserved them late was put into the hat.

I paid for mine 1 hour after they was announced so the girl at UTtix said I will be notified in February

What's the total # of tickets printed? Can you buy them at the gate? I would think when trying to set the record, they wouldn't ever cut it off. Have an area for standing room only somewhere in the infield. The facilities are huge, plenty of room for everybody. Can you tailgate in turn 2?

Go Vols!

Personally, I think the way they have allotted the tickets is complete BS & a cluster****...
Why not give season ticket holders a 2-3 month window to order their allotment and then put the rest up for sale. But they are including the Bristol raceway ticketholders(which is fine) and having a lottery etc. It's not the best way of going about it
