You can bet it will be in the evening. Whether that's 6PM, 7:30, or 8 I don't know. Is your schedule that tight for it to matter?

With most of the hotels and rental houses sold out for the weekend, he may be trying to decide if he can drive home after the game.

I had similar questions when I was planning but ultimately just rented a house for our group Fri and Sat night.

I believe the ban on alcohol is an SEC rule, not NCAA.

Exactly had nothing to do with the ncaa. There are football stadiums on campuses that sell alcohol, just not in the SEC.

Edit : misread initial post, yeah there probably aren't many if any stadiums that would let you bring in any drinks or food.

No coolers allowed but beer will be sold. Wish I could make it to this one. Missing a possible once in a lifetime experience and probably one of the best CFB tailgates of all time.

I just got confirmation from Rallybus and we are leaving from Blacksburg (Go Vols!) and going into Bristol at 12:30. We're supposed to arrive by 3:30. I don't think the bus service would leave so late if it started as early as 4.

It will be a 7 or 8pm game. Since it is a neutral non conference game I would not be surprised to see it on national tv ...ABC 8pm prime time game.
