Much Improvement from the exhibition games. They are gonna have to work on the defense, its not horrible, but to beat powerhouses were gonna have to improve in that area.

Maze was great and I think he will be our answer at PG if he continues his work. T Smith and Chism are where I thought they would be, Chism has improved on a couple of things from last like FT shooting. Hopson is a great player from what I saw tonite, keep it up. Didn't expect JP to come out and dominate for a bit, but he did.

Overall it was a great game and if they keep it up there's no reason we can't compete at the top.

I think the d is good, but too many easy baskets

Maze is friggin awesome, he is so smart and makes good shots

JP form on his shot looks much better and hopson has lots of potential

I didn't mean to come off as the Defense is bad, it isn't but like you said they were getting some easy ones off.

Maze was a definite surprise, and I don't know if JP was at 100% tonite with the injury, but he played a good game.

I think that this is a fine place to post congrats to the hoops squad. God knows that this is a better thread than discussing who Steve Spurrier met at Ye Olde Steak House after his round at Holston Hills. Many of us frequent the main forum more than the others.

All in all, our offense looked very, very athletic. There seemed to be quite a bit of chemistry (much to my surprise) with the freshmen, and I was extremely impressed (and again surprised) by the outside shooting. I know it was UTC, but we definitely saw something positive to build on.

One note: Chism needs to be given the red flag on the threes. We waste too many possessions on his prayers from the arc.

Umm football season is pretty much over anyway, so why not talk about some Vols that acutally put forth some great team effort?

Way to go Vols the squad looked great tonight the newcomer's and the veterans showed great chemestry that led to and exciting blowout. Now stick that in ur pipe and smoke it VOLNBAMA
