“Basketball yips are a sudden, involuntary loss of well-learned shooting or passing skills, often triggered by intense anxiety, self-doubt, or pressure. This, commonly seen in free throws or jump shots, causes players to "freeze," hesitate, or completely alter their mechanics. It is often a mental block that can, in some cases, stem from physical, neurological, or muscle-memory issues.” 😂

We all know it’s not from a lack of coaching or discipline (some would argue Barnes is getting softer in his older years). This team gets a lead then forgets all of their teaching. It’s like here we go again. But in their defense, they were able to step on the gas again against an inferior opponent. But it does get in your head and patterns do need to be broken if a deep run is expected. I think the yips come from pressure and the boys need to loosen up a little in those moments.
