i would be upset with anything less than a sweet 16 with the talent that we have, because anything can happen in the sweet 16

good stuff. We'll see how it turns out. Would UT fans be dissapointed with elite eight? what about sweet sixteen?

I'm not sure that we have the right to be disappointed (as in upset / dissatisified) with anything beyond a sweet 16 appearance .....

I would only be upset with elite 8 if Tyler Smith goes pro right after, otherwise I wouldn't be surprised if we made the final four in 08-09. The starting lineup would still be stacked. Ramar Smith pg, Prince sg, Tyler Smith sf, Crews pf, Chism C. And then backup would include Tatum, Williams, Childress, Jurick, Tabb, and whatever recruits we sign.

I think that Smith will be gone if he performs the way it seems he will, but 2008-2009 will still be a great year because we'll be getting some great recruits.

I think that season will look a lot like last year's team (05-06) just a lot more talented. 09-10 will be an awesome year if everyone sticks around because the team will be dominated by seniors and stud sophmores.
