Great questions, great answers. Antigua is apparently day to day with his shoulder, chomping at the bit to get back out there.

The VOLS faced a team with a defense MASSIVELY worse than them and good VOL base running made 'em pay. The pitching seems to be ahead of both the VOLS bats & defense and when they face non SEC pitching their bats looks like the VOLS of a couple yrs ago. They struggle against good pitching.
Changing out the Friday starter made the commode series tighter and perhaps should remain as such.
VOLS batters still watch too many juicey strikes and swing at too many low inside and low outside balls. The changeup is their crytonite...
They strand far too many base runners when victory is within a timely hit or two.
All that said they seem to have come out of their commode funk and are improving. It'll be nice to see them take a few SEC series and put together a sweep or two.
Being the 1st yr sans Tony V motivating them from the dugout they're not doing that bad and could make a run.
