Baseball Vols drafted

Eli Iorg went first with the 38th pick to the Astros and Hochevar went to the Dodgers with the 40th pick. It looks like Luke's agent really hurt him in the draft. The agent has a history of advising his players to hold out for bigger contracts.

Congrats guys and move on to the majors with a NCAA championship! :rocks:

Pretty sad, I counted 13 pitchers taken in the first round.

If they Dodgers sign Luke, some teams are going to be sorry..I wish the Braves would of drafted him, but I would say Boras scared them off

Why not? Many many teams need good pitchers developed, and fast.

My point was that they were all taken before Hochevar. I didn't realize there were that many available who were better. From all the articles I read he was supposed to be the 1st or 2nd taken.

Thee wasn't that many better but those guys didn't have Boras as an agent, that cost Hochaver.
