If, and it's a big if, he did decide to return for a senior year...then it would probably be another 30 plus years before anyone could touch the records he would likely set. Have really enjoyed watching him. I'm selfish...hope he does like the GOAT did and never looks back on his decision. Come on back DB.

Part of loving Tennessee football is caring enough about these kids to want to see them succeed and make good decisions. So sometimes I want them to stay because they're not ready for the NFL and would be better off playing their senior year than getting drafted in a high round or going free agent. But, Derek needs to go. I would love to see him in orange for another year but he needs to do what's best for himself and his family and that 1st Round money may not be there for whatever reason next year. So Mr. Barnett go get the Minister of Defense's sack record in the bowl game and then get ready for the combine as a VFL. Then next season knock Tom Brady into the middle of next week and make all us Volunteers proud!

He is the first Tennessee position player to be tabbed All-America since Eric Berry in 2009, receiving honors from the Associated Press (first team), Sporting News (second team), Football Writers Association of America (second team) and the Walter Camp Foundation (first team).
