Statistically? We won't.

He's about to do in 3 years what Reggie and Pollack did in 4.

Hell Through two years there has NEVER been a DE as good as Barnett in almost any metric. And the one thing he wasn't great at, turnovers, he has improved on insanely this year. He has caused more turnovers this season then his last two combined.
umm you do realize Reggie White was a DT at UT in an era where freshmen starting period and DT's getting sacks was not normal. Comparing them is apples to oranges.

Amazing considering.
Bama is hardly ever called for a hold. That's not hyperbole, here is a snip from VolGee 4 in another thread.

Yes, Bama is disciplined, but NO ONE is that disciplined.
Makes what DB did even more impressive.

hard to believe aint it....in fact, if you watch the replay of Barnett's sack n fumble...Cam Robinson had a whole handful of jersey....yet, no flag.

On that same thread, someone posted video from Saturday's game. Showed one of our players getting grabbed and thrown to the ground right in front of the line judge and no flag thrown.
And I mean insanely obvious.
I agree with what you said, but there's a little more than technique involved in many of the situations.

There is ab$olutely nothing in $aturday'$ conte$t to $uggest that $EC referee$ are anything but profe$$ional, a$ they promote the highe$t ideal$ of $port$man$hip a$ demon$trated by the team from Tu$kaloo$a...

and you can bank on that!

And in this era, Freshman don't play on the Defensive line either. Let alone Defensive End.

Considering he predominantly played the DE position for his career, that that's what most know him as, AND that that's the person everyone compares Barnett to, it IS easy to compare them. Oh, and the fact that Reggie has stats that are comparable to, you guessed it, the great all time defensive ends.

I promise, I've done more research on this specific topic than you've watched college football games. It is not only an apt comparison, it is one of the only ones that can be done with Barnett because of how good he is. In the SEC it's literally Pollack, Reggie, and Barnett, then EVERYONE else. Myles Garret and Clowney don't even register on the list for comparison historically.
