just a good place to go drink when you don't want to be surrounded by amateurs. Actually had a good mix of people though

It only served beer when I was there.

Lots of locals hang out there. The top floor used to be rented out for fraternity/sorority mixers. The floor would bend like ply wood.

It still only serves beer, though the one time I went to Longbranch a man was sitting at the bar with a handle of Everclear... not sure if that means they let just anyone bring liquor in or if he's the exception given his status as a regular.

Longbranch seemed like a great place to go and have a few beers if you're not looking to socialize much. As long as there's no show that night, I guarantee you won't have to deal with college students a la Tin Roof and Goal Post.

It was just beer when I was there but just like the old Toddys if you knew people then shots were available. Used to be a really good Knoxville band that was there playing foosball many nights. Still love the v-roys
