These numbers don't mean jack. How can we compare a bama team that played Western Carolina and Houston to a VOLS team that played California and Florida? Re-do the numbers and only include the team that we both played Georgia.

It reminds me of the Miami/FSU game from a few years ago (1st of the season) when everyone was saying how good both teams were. Turns out that both were terrible and the game was worthless.

My head hurts after reading that. The spread is almost nothing. However, I don't think the game will be as close as expected when the Vols decide to turn it on. Bama won't be able to keep up. Just my .02

He actually is in trouble. He is having a pretty difficult time in the pocket. Yes, he has shown SOME improvement......but he will never be a top 5 QB in the NFL. Collins actually gave them the better chace against TB

Kerry is awful and Vince won't be complete until Tennessee gets a top WR. The defense doesn't respect the pass and stacks the line up. If they spread the D out with a passing threat then Vince is off and running again. Sorry for jacking the thread but the thread was worthless bama nonsense anyways.

I think this stat is somewhat telling:

Tennessee's two losses: against teams that have been ranked this season in the top 3, and both on the road.

Alabama's two losses: against 2 teams whose highest rankings were 18 & 19 and are currently unranked, one of them at home.


Also, of UT & Bama's 3 respective wins...look at margin of victory over UGA and margin of victory over the two low-ranked or unranked teams we've each beaten.

Objectively, one could make a strong argument that the Vols should handle Bama without too much trouble.

Good job at the stats but they don't tell the whole story our came with fla. and cal twisted the stats Bams has playes no such games.
