Bama refs

Completely agree. But that’s not the reason we lost the game.

I hate this line of thinking. We lost because of a lot of things. If we had less penalties would we have won? If we blocked better would we have won? If we tackled better would we have won?

Pull any one of those by itself and it isn’t the only reason we lost, but they are all reasons. That includes horrible officiating. What makes it worse than the others is it is out of our control and SHOULD be completely objective and fair and it wasn’t.

That should be put on the Jumbotron before the game.

The refs called Bama for a PF *AND* DPI on the last TAMU drive. The DPI is the call that gave TAMU the ball at the 2 1/2 yard line at the end of the game.

Blaming the refs all the damn time is nonsense.

GO VOLS.

Even though the game is in Knoxville we better forget about getting any fair calls with the paid off Bama refs straight out of Birmingham, AL. The PI calls we have been getting forget about it, Bama will straight get away with mugging our receivers all day and knocking them down. Remember we are playing against their team, their refs and Greg Sankey who hates our guts and Saban is his boy. We wlll see the worst calls all year in our games this Saturday.
Already coming up with excuses? Come on, we have a chance to win this game. Not a significant chance, but a chance. Let’s hope no referee call determines the outcome. Take off your tinfoil hat and enjoy the process, whatever happens.

Tom Ritter hates Tennessee. It's a fact, Jack.

I didn’t say that he didn’t. He’s from Nashville and obviously passed the smell test for Bama to allow him call a TSIO. I said that guy in that pic was Tom Ritter & wasn’t the guy who called the game Sat night. Jack.

I kinda look at this type forum as a “tradition”. Whether it has any reasonable veracity or is totally generated from a rabid fandom right of passage… it’s…..Tradition, tradition! Tradition!
Tradition, tradition! Tradition!(in the voice of Topol..Fiddler on the Roof)

The refs will give Bama every benefit of the doubt and will actively try to sway the outcome of the game in Bama's favor. It will be an uphill battle but I think if we play well enough, we can overcome bad officiating.

I think the other UT teams who were not coached well and had doubt were easily discouraged . So the Bama REFs knew they could sway the game . I think this team is better and can overcome the refs they cannot get to blatant with all eyes on them. Least I hope
