A-burn has to be their biggest rival, (don't want to be second instate). Over the years, I think we were 1A. Lately, maybe not so in their eyes.

We said the same thing about Bama when Coach Fulmer was coaching. He just OWNED Alabama. And therefore, Florida became a bigger rival for us.

I hope Coach Fulmer is in attendance on Saturday. When Bama sees him, they nut up & crawl under the bed.

Bring Peyton in also.....I think he was 4-0 against the toothless people.

That's fine but WGWTFA Saturday. For 1993-2006 they only beat us 3 times and between that we had a 7 game streak on them. Things goes in cycles in sports and we are starting one Saturday.

Writer is probably a member of VN. Alabama players just answered this not long ago.

Their fans still spend money for personalized plates and gear to take shots at UT. It has always had swings and streaks and that has never made it any less of a rivalry.

The ONLY group that puts any real effort into downplaying it is the self-deprecating members on here.

Read the Bama fan posts responding to the article, most disagree with him and say Vols are the biggest rival. Feels good to still be that hated even without the wins lately.

This program has been down for the past decade.. Thanks to the do nothing era and the pretty boy show girl kiffin.. This team is one of the strongest since 1998..

This right here. If I remember correctly Manning had a receiver open in the endzone and he just threw a bad pass. Our fans felt cursed after that game and felt like we missed our chance to finally beat the Tide since next year's game was in Birmingham. In case anyone doesn't know how that Legion field game went it started with an 80 yard TD pass and ended 41-14 with 6 sacks and 2 turnovers. The game was over at the half but when Bama scored late in the 3rd UT responded a couple plays later with a 75 yard TD run to quiet the Crimson fans
