I'm hearing a lot of talk about a&m. I understand. It's our next game. I hear a lot of 💩 about "we can get Bama in the sec championship."

Nope. I give a 💩 about A&M personally I just don't care. They are an equally matched team. Just go out and play your game and let the chips fall.

I want bama's fruit salad. I want it in a bad way. I want it served to me with a side of apple pie. We are UT. UT beats Bama. It's what we do. It's who we are. If we don't then who? If you want to beat Bama (and we do) you stop them before they get started. We will have to end this before the bad behavior ever gets started. You know how many VFL will be at this game? You know how many recruits will be watching this game? UT beats Bama. Right back into the red clay from which they rose and we don't let them get back up. It's what we do. Bama is not that good this year. They have the D but so do we. They have a bad online and a freshman QB that makes mistakes. Take advantage of it. They will be going for the turnovers. They will be trying to get the ball. That's what THEY DO. Not in our house and not this year. We have worked too damn hard. I don't care what it takes. Do your job.

This week we take on a team that maybe better than them.

As long as we don't get run out of the stadium we are good on A&M. Our job is to knock some reality back into Bama.

Tennessee won't get run out of any stadium this year. I'm sure aTm will hit us between the tackles a lot and make us defend open space. That's fine. We can handle it. aTm should be worried about one thing: the light bulb coming on. Tennessee hasn't played to potential and they know it. If Tennessee comes out and punches them in the face with a quick score it sounds like the fans will start to get uneasy. Tennessee can win this game.

My x-factors: Alvin Kamara and Tyler Byrd.

Its going to be a hard fought game either way. I think we win a close one in college station. Go Vols.

Well yall should wait for arky first.... i think the tide is overlooking them... like lil nicky said the players consider the VOLs the biggest game

Somehow the younger generation has gotten the idea in their heads that "it's ok to lose to alabama." I have no idea where this complacency has come from other than ESPN itself. UT has had some down years, but that's not who we are. Alabama ends when they meet us in our house and they know it. It's what we do.

The problem..or a big one at least, is these key injuries we have. That is a heckuva lot to overcome. These are three KEY players and we just aren't the same team without them.

Austin Peay can have all the "want-to" in the world to beat a Miss St. or something...but they just can't match up talent wise...as an example.

If those 3 key injuries weren't there for the Vols....

Not saying it's impossible to beat T A and M and Bama but it's gonna be tough. REALLY tough.

I think everyone is just worried about this top 10 matchup we have on Saturday. I can't even remember the last time we were in a top 10 match up. Our season comes down to the 2 weeks. I will worry about next weeks game next week. Win Saturday and we will likely be playing in Atl with a shot at the playoff. That is the ultimate goal!
