Everyone knew that the stakes for this game were high. Fulmer's future, huge recruits visiting, the number two team coming to town, possibly a bowl game opportunity on the line, all in play. I am just interested in what you think about how this loss will effect all of these things.

well the crowd was good.. ESPN was actually nice to us.. and said alot of complements about our talent level, nice facilities.. and how we have a good defense.. but its just our offense that kills us.. and it might be in time for a change..

they made Berry out to be a heisman candidate especially for next year..

they thought it was gonna be a closer game too..

but overall, it just showed how bad we needa new coach

controversy/hearsay/irrate fan demands relating to a coach needing to leave will drive away some recruits because of both they dont want to be caught in the middle of all the coaching controversy and they wont want to commit to a place where they dont know if the guy recruiting them will even be their coach for the time while they're there

The game may have been the peverbial nail in the coffin of CPF. As for the recruits, they could have come away with one of two conclusions. They either felt that the program is not worth thier time or they saw a product that could maybe improve with thier addition. I think that this loss may even prevent a trip to some off the wall bowl game against some WAC or MAC team.

I can only hope that this is a decisive game for the AD's decision in being rid of CPF. And that maybe we can get a couple of big recruiting commits from these visitors (i.e. Boyd, Moses) because of the new facilities. It was very dissapointing to see so much crimson in neyland though.
