I love all the scenic........................concrete and brick? Hell I don't know. I mean, I love the university and all, just not enough to classify it as a beautiful campus, or to even go to it for that matter.

Actually there is only one building on campus that is not brick, and that is the art and architecture building.

Tennessee's? Uhh...

Yes
TENNESSEE'S
Did I studder or something?
We have an urban campus in a mid size city.
If I wanted to go to a school in the middle of nowhere there are certainly plenty to choose from.

IN MY OPINION our campus is an exciting, modern and energized place.
To me it is beautiful. Maybe no beautiful like driving over Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park but for what it is it is beautiful.

VT is the best campus i have ever seen. by far.

This is what I mean, I personally think VT (we are talking about Virginia Tech, right?) is sort of cool when you first see it but the monotony of the buildings gets old very fast.

And Blacksburg has absolutely nothing.

Different people define beauty differently.

Well, I must admit when I was highly recruited for Mass Comm out of HS, I took several official visits all across the country and I would have a hard time picking the "most beautiful" campus.

Okay, you guys broke me. So I wasn't highly recruited and just walked on at MTSU. That and UT and the Vanderbilt campus have been the only ones I've really ever stepped foot on.

I've said it before and I say it again, William and Mary's campus is gorgeous. I've been to a handful of the campuses on that list and UA doesn't belong anywhere near it. It's not that attractive. Neither is Duke's. UNC's campus is ten times more charming and elegant than Duke. And I'm the one saying that. UVa is good, but I'd put William and Mary over it every day.

Agreement: Pepperdine (love that place)
Disagreement: No UNC (spent 2 years there after 4 at UT and felt I went from a Chevy to a Mercedes)

I actually like Kentucky's campus as well (don't throw anything at me).

Duke has a hideous campus with no thought to architectural theme. The place is almost ridiculous. Fuqua actually couldn't be any uglier, although it is near the golf course, which is solid.

Agree to disagree? Also, UTK is not a beautiful campus. If one wants a cool urban campus check out University of Chicago. That's an awesome "urban" campus.

William and Mary is gorgeous....it was my first choice after visiting it. I don't regret going to UTK one bit though!

Define "beautiful".
I am writing this from the middle of the FSU campus.
The heart of their campus is pretty nice, IMO. It is pretty small and the Stadium is really pretty (all brick)
I hope Neyland looks a little like this when the renovations are finished.

For what it is worth I know our campus is not going to win any awards for "beauty" anytime soon but I think it is a fun, exciting and energetic place.
In its own way it is beautiful.

Are you agreeing with the post before yours?
He wrote that he does not like UNC, and you do?

that is a weak opinion. FSU has a completely disjointed campus.

Sorry you don't like my opinion, as it was formed just for you.
I don't think it is great but it is clean and new. Perhaps a tad boring and it lacks the "energy" of UT but I certainly have seen worse.

How West Point is not on there I have no clue. For those of you that have been blessed an opportunity to see West Points campus you know what I'm talking about. It is amazing!
