Watched a lot of St. John's-Michigan last night. Ledlum didn't impress me. Maybe he was having a bad game, but he didn't look that great and, more importantly, I don't know how his game would have really helped this team. He's not really a low post guy and what he brings to the table is already done and done better by some of Tennessee's current players. I can see why he bailed.A possible matchup with VFM, Chris Ledlum.
I watched some, and Ledlum was loving the outside shots when I watched. We’ve got about 5 guys I’d rather shoot the 3 than him.Watched a lot of St. John's-Michigan last night. Anybody else watch him and think the same thing?
I think a lot of people saw Ledlum's size and skill and pictured a possible reincarnation of Grant Williams in our system, and in game 1 against Stony Brook, he flashed that kind of ability (16 pts, 14 rebs, 4 assts, and he hit 2-3 3s). However, against a much better team in Michigan, he struggled. So it will be interesting to see which version of him is real. Likely in between. The real issue is minutes, though. He's averaging 29 minutes thru two games, and he would have played maybe half that at Tennessee with what we know we have, now. He probably would have gotten Phillips's 8.5 minutes and maybe take 3 each from JJJ and Aidoo.Watched a lot of St. John's-Michigan last night. Ledlum didn't impress me. I think a lot of people owe JJJ an apology. They wanted Ledlum over him. JJJ is way more valuable to this team than Ledlum would have been.Watched a lot of St. John's-Michigan last night.
