I hope this does not adversely effect us with some coaches we want. This was a comment from Patterson re the Kansas State firing:

"I'm not real happy with people who fire people before the season is over," Patterson told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. "And I would be less happy with anybody who would ever talk about taking another job until they finish their own."

That sounds like a really confused dude. Glad he made that statement so Tennessee can scratch him off the list.

What's so confusing about his statement. It sounds like a way of not saying yes to being interested without having to say he's not interested to me. It's basically a statement saying this season isn't over yet, so let's not discuss next season yet.

So stay at TCU and you have nothing to worry about.

If you don't understand my statement then I rest my case. I'm not interested in revealing if I'm interested in responding to your response regarding if he was interested in the job at Tennessee because nobody knows if the powers that be are interested in him being a candidate to begin with.

Hamilton was doing Fulmer a favor by leting him go before the season was up. He knew he had to make a change and he didn't want phil to get BOOed in his final games.

I understood both your statement and his statement. If I had to admire one of the two, it wouldn't be your statement.

Relieved to know I don't have to shoulder the burden of being sure whether you admire my statments or not.

Exactly right... can you imagine the rioting that would have occurred if Fulmer hadn't been fired and we lost to Wyoming?
