Magic Johnson was a better basketball player than Jordan. I love the people who harp on Kobe isn't Jordan. You are the only idiots making the comparison. Who cares, it's a statement how good he is why people like u feel the need to defend one of the biggest pricks of all time. With a name like gahlee I'll assume u grew up in extreme poverty and have never been out of the south.

So you try proving your point by telling someone that they live in extreme poverty and live in the south. Interesting.

You have your opinion, I have mine. If I had to pick between magic and jordan to build a team around, I would pick Jordan 10 out of 10 times.

Nothing wrong w that. It's just funny how the only people who compare Kobe and Jordan are Kobe haters. Lakers fans don't care. So clearly he is pretty close to jordans level.

I loved Jordan too btw.

WHA? ....They were only six years apart upon entering the NBA.

Jordan is responsible for keeping Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Karl Malone, John Stockton and Reggie Miller among others ringless.

The pistons and celtics were brutal in the 80s. Jordans prime moments were 90s.

I would also argue that Patrick ewing and John Stockton are responsible for keeping Patrick Ewing from gettin a ring.

Magic Johnson couldn't carry Jordan's jockstrap you tool...Magic was great, but Jordan transcended the game.

By looking at your over the top enthusiasm about the Lakers winning another title, I figured it would only be a matter of time before you started with the GOAT conversation.

Your joke was pathetic, just like the rest of your life!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's go back 2 back!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who is down for a 3 peat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will be eating Ramen noodles tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

U started the goat conversation. Don't let facts get in the way.

I loved ramen noodles in college. What's your favorite flavor?

And clearly gahlee doesn't closely follow NBA, because magic and bird get unanimous praise for saving the NBA.

Magic was great.

But he is no Jordan.

End of discussion.

Jordan was best closer of all time. Nobody close. Magic was best all around player.

Oscar Robertson was the best all-around player ever...I like Magic, phenomenal player, a legend...Jordan is a legend among legends.

Doesn't matter anyway, stupid discussion...

I'm sure there are ways in which one could argue magic was better than mj. But when the seconds counted to win the title, Jordan was the best and there is absolutely no argument against it. None. That is how the sports viewing public defines greatness.

I generally agree with it. I don't think mj was hands down the most talented guy to dribble a ball, but he is the greatest.

I like to think of Kobe as the greatest in the post Jordan era.

As much as I hate him, I have to agree, he is amazing, he hits shots that nobody else would even attempt.
