I've always found it interesting that one of the two KGB agents (under diplomatic cover) met with when he went to the Soviet embassy in Mexico City a few weeks before the assasination was from the 13th department of the First Chief Directory - that would be the department that oversees liquidation of targets.

I have a very hard time accepting that the Russians would make a move, but the theories are out there.

Yes. The round enters the back of the head at high veolicty, making a small whole. The organic matter is then expelled in masse out the front, causing the head to recoil back. Look at the tape, his brain basically comes out the front of his head, slinging his head backward. The physics say this should happen, and there was a show on NGC or something where they proved this would happen. If he was hit from the front, his head would have slung forward.

I know it is counter-intuitive, but it is correct.
