BJ Coleman has been getting all kinds of love with the draft analysts lately...kinda makes you wonder, what if? What would've happened if Coleman had stayed at UT? Would Bray still be a household name in Knoxville, or would Coleman have taken the spotlight?

If I played as a middle school QB right now, I would look really good too.

Haha.. UTC actually played a couple of pretty good teams though.., Kyper sure sees something in him.. And he gets paid the big bucks to make those decisions.

Fair enough, but he didn't look all that great 4 years ago.

When though? I mean Bray looked like the worst qb in history last spring game.. BJ never got a real chance to get in there and learn first hand with meaningful time..

Personally I'd rather have Tyler Bray the next two years than BJ Coleman the last two.

I think it has worked out for us.

Hope he does well in the NFL though!

All he had to do was stick around and compete.

Didn't he leave because Kiffin gave him the feeling that he wasn't going to see much of the field?

Mel Kiper Jr. Was also a huge fan of Jimmy Clausen's.

Only for that season. I'm sure he would've been #1 in 2010 after Crompton left. That's the one thing I could never really understood. You're a sophomore, the guy picked to start is a senior. All you had to do is wait and then you have 2 years as the starter.

The story I always heard is that he pressed Kiffin on it and CLK wouldn't commit to anything, so he transferred. I really can't say that I blame him. It's just what tends to happen with coaching changes.
