To all who thinks he'll transfer:
"You try your best not to pay attention to it. I committed to the University of Tennessee. I love this place. I’m a kid from here, in-state, and I would love nothing more than to play in front of the fans at Neyland Stadium. They’re important to me and I hope I have that opportunity."

And he's saying all the right things:
"Trials help you better the maturity of yourself and teach you perseverance. I think patience is something I’ve been taught going through this and I’m very thankful for that but at the same time I’d love to go out there and get a shot. Whatever’s best for the team we will do."

I doubt we'll see Coleman this season but he's a smart kid. I hope he gets a fair shot next season.

I don't think anyone needs to say he's going to transfer.

I believe the kid deserves a fair shot. Almost anyone does after this season. I do like the way he conducts himself though and he has a great attitude.

Yeah i have still yet to figure out why he hasn't started a game yet this year or at least got a chance to throw the ball in a game....Can someone let me in on this?

he might be the type of guy to fit in a Mike Leach system? Less talented player with a good head on his shoulders. Ok its set. He is the next Graham Harrell so who is the next Michael Crabtree? Jeron Stokes if he stays commited or maybe another player yet to see time Ahmad Paige?

I read where Fulmer said that Coleman needs to improve his footwork; he's been tripping over the linemen's feet at times in practice.

Well, that wouldn't be any different that Crompton and that hasn't kept him from getting his opportunities. Oh I forgot, he is Phil's boy.

It would be great if he started against Vandy and then KY and played lights out football; leading to victories in both. It would be an exclamation point on this coaching regime.

doesn't matter anymore, Phil is gone :good!: but it doesn't help Coleman's chances of getting playing time.

I've Never read anything about him wanting to transfer on here. The only question I've read, is why he hasn't seen the field yet. I think everyone assumed he was going to get a redshirt year.
