He was planning to visit Tennessee last weekend, but was unable to make it due to the weather in Knoxville.

“Culture for sure is important,” Hinton told On3 about what he is looking for in a program. “I look at the history of schools, the coaches, who they put into the league and what their progression is.”

Regarding Tennessee, it is a school in the south and the 5-foot-11, 175-pound recruit appreciated how the Volunteers’ coaches reached out to him consistently following his injury.

According to Hinton, Tennessee staffers have told him that he has “true talent” and the potential to be one of the best players to graduate from Saguaro.

Oregon, Arizona and Arizona State also have Hinton’s attention
