that's not always the way it is. the home team has choise of jersey colors. it's just that most always they choose the dark jerseys, just as u t always wears dark at home.

Excuse me.

In the .0000001% chance a team chooses to wear white at home and Tennessee is playing them that weekend (with the exception of LSU)

why is everyone so big on the orange pants? the white look waaayyyy better.
havent really seen black pants tho. i think that would be awesome too

None of those could be away jerseys and Tennessee wears orange/orange at home and they wore black/orange at home on halloween.

This poll makes no sense and black sucks. It's not one of the football colors and it shouldn't be. Football team > baseball team. I don't care if they wear black. Their history is nowhere near the football teams. The football team should never follow in their footsteps.

The only 2 choices should have been white on orange or white on white.

Anyways, my vote goes to white on orange. The majority leans that way too.

I'm not sure why everyone is real big on the orange pants for the away uniform. The white/white just looks better. Though it could just be from years of seeing them with the orange shirt and white pants at home that makes the opposite look bad.

White pants with the white away jerseys only became popular during the Fulmer regime. I sent him a letter asking him why he changed the format when he became the head coach and his response was the team voted on it and that's the way it is now. Oh yeah, that was about '95.

Yeah, I know about the past, but I really started watching UT football in '93 when I was ten. I guess it's just what I'm used to. Still like the white pants :p

Ain't my fault you could only be ten when Phil changed the unis. :eek:lol: But the white pants did grow on me over the years. However, I was excited and almost fell off my walker when I saw the orange pants come running out onto the field.
