Wow. What a performance by the boys tonight. Maybe the embarassing game against PV is just what we needed. JuJuan was ridiculous, C-Lo has his shot back (I'm even going back to the "money" avatar in his honor), excellent halfcourt defense, tremendous looks down low, T Smith with more highlight reel material, and Ramar actually hit the freebies. A great game in Tennessee history.

If I may have one criticism (as you should always look for ways to improve): anyone else in favor of getting away from Childress and Chism popping threes? I know they can shoot, but with our array of offensive firepower, I just think the percentages weigh in favor of other options.

Anyway, props to CBP for getting this team up and ready for some "real" competition. Let's run the little tourney this weekend and gear up for a great season!

Childress and Chism need to only shoot wide open threes. Looked like tonight they forced the ones they shot as a last resort.

I think they should continue shooting threes.. makes it harder to defend the paint and allows the guards to get into the lane for layups. Just only shoot when their wide open or if they're slumping off of em the whole game.

Yeah. We didn't have too many of those when I was in school! Being down to Prarie View is embarassing, though, with the talent we have on the court.

Barely. How's the new Halo online? Hopefully you fared better than Middle Tennessee.

I got into Gears but haven't played much in a while (thanks to offspring #2, work, and the wife's "suggestion").

You need a DVR/TiVo.

The game was also on WTLV2 on Charter (ch. 15). They show a few of the games. I didn't know it for a while and had it deleted from my fav's list, but you might add it if you have access.

yeah, it forces the inside defenders to guard the outside in the man to man...the guards should get more easy layups...its always advantageous when your big men have some what of a shot.

I see what you all are saying, I just think that teams will love to see the big men popping threes while JuJuan and C-Lo stand around and watch. . . .JMHO.

Plenty of our games are on national TV though. :good!:

UT's definitely the cream of the crop in the SEC, and is sure to be a #1 seed in the NCAAs, after looking at that dominating blowout. I think UT may go undefeated in the SEC and will get easy wins against most teams. Fla and UK don't have near the talent of the Vols, and UT should roll over them both times.

Undefeated in the SEC? I can't wait for conference play, but that would be a pretty amazing accomplishment. Unlikely, but we can hope for the best.

lets not get ahead of ourself now, going undefeated in the SEC is no easy task. We havent even started conference play and this talk is already starting... one game at a time. WV next.

Big Orange looked fantastic tonight... It was just a matter of time 4 c-lo... jajuan just couldnt miss... I want a legends classic trophy and an sec east ring by the end of the week:rock:
