wonderful...no big deal, we've got plenty of big time proven wide receivers that we won't even notice him gone...

It sounds like someone else just got an opportunity to step up.

just read it on volation.

:lolabove: Good one!

On a serious note, I hope that's not true. This being his last year, I would like to see the kid have a good one. Like him or not, he is a pretty tough kid and he plays really hard, IMO.

He's already used one...unless theres a difference between the two.
i know of people that have redshirted and then get a medical redshirt for a 6th yr of eligibility. no specifics off the top of my head but i'll look em up.

Assuming this is true, what's up with these kids getting torn ACLs in the off season. Toney Williams tore his during voluntary workouts and I assume Austins is probably a similar case.

Hopefully he can get it. This would be a horrible way to go out.

I hope the NCAA grants him a 6th year. A torn ACL would be a crappy way to end a college football career...

Honestly, what good would a 6th year do him? Kiffin is making upgrades and I expect the trend to continue.

My friend tried to get a 6th year at BYU, and it wasn't granted. I've heard of them being granted though. I think Tennessee has more sway than a program like BYU.

Personally I'd always wonder 'what if'. What if i didnt' try to get a 6th yr, what would I have done? Could i have helped?
