I really like AP's interviews with these commitments. How fun has these past two weeks been for that cat! If you enjoy the job he's doing not only with his commitment interviews, but the recruiting updates he provides as well, like this post. Let's show him, how much we appreciate what he is doing!!!

I think the thread is a little weird and a link of some kind would have been helpful, but do you have a set of rules handy that says never, NEVER? I mean Freak posted some rules, but I never saw one to match this one. ubu

AP is not as funny as he thinks he is, and he can sound condescending at times regarding fan questions on the Thursday Volquest podcast. However, the thing that drives me crazy is his overwhelmingly constant insertion of the phrase "you know" into his sentences while he is speaking on air. An occasional "you know" is fine, but he added "you know" seven individual times in a single sentence once on a podcast. He's not a 17 year old kid. He has a college degree, is a sports reporter, and should know better.

Umm... the best way to show appreciation would be to subscribe to VQ and let them know that's why you came. I doubt he reads this board.

See, I would doubt the opposite.

The dude makes his living by communicating with the Volunteer fan base. He may have a "home" fan website, but he's damn sure going to keep one eye on the other major ones as well.


p.s. It's quite possible, I would even say probable, that he's in this very thread. Who knows, he could even be the person who started it! :)

he is way to busy to be on other boards. I would absolutely be shocked if he spent any time here. No more than a monthly peek I would say.. Dude just doesn't have time.. His job is to communicate with VQ members and give them the best info possible. Can't see him taking time away from his job. JMO
