August 31st GAMEDAY

On the day we have all been waiting for on August 31st, what will be your way of doing things that day? I will work from 6am til 2:30pm wearing my Orange Adidas Vols Polo. Chanting occasionally throughout the office that day " I said it's great to be a Tennessee VOL", and singing Rocky Top :whistling:. After work I will go home call Buffalo Wild Wings place a order for some Salt and Vinegar wings, BBQ wings, and Hot Wings. Go pick the food up with my car supporting 4 UT flags. Go to the liquor store and grab redbull and vodka then head back to the house. Watch the pregame and then it's TIME for the VOLS to start ( what we all wish for) the season off right and get UT back to Tradition. GO BIG ORANGE!!!!!! :clapping: Florida and BAMA this is for you :moon2:

Supposed to work til 6. Ill probably slide out around 3. Go to Buds in Chattanooga, pick up 50 of the best wings around, stop in the liquor store and pick up my buddy Gentleman Jack, head to the house and get the pregame party started.

Suppose to work until 7 but will probably get off between 4 and 5. I will pick up some pizza and watch the game with my son.

leaving the great state of Alabama(sarcasm) about 6am. get to the Dome around 10am! party my ass off while singing rocky top ALL day. Find me some beautiful girls to talk too haha. find my seat in section 122 and finally let it hit me that im with my family of around 70,000. singing rocky top till im horse and watch Tyler Bray and that offense light up the scoreboard!! Hope everyone can enjoy gameday as much as I hope to enjoy it VFL!!

Gotta work til 5! but glad the wife is off that day...she has got some shopping to do (football necessities!!!) so ill be all set when I walk thru the door!

GO VOLS!!

I'll start the day off in Atlanta at the Renaissance Waverly with my son and Jack and Coke. Will probably catch a ride with our DD to the yellow lot at around Noon to start the first tailgate of the season where I'll lose the Coke then it's off to the game. Can't wait! Go Vols!!!

Probably be pissed drunk when I finally hear It's Football Time in Tennesseee. Wow just got chills thinking about it

Unfortunantly for me i was headed to go to the game but i sold my house here in ATL and will be heading to Kansas Thursday the 29th. Luckily i'll arrive Friday around 3:00. So i will be able to watch the game! Plans are to stay the night at my uncles thursday night in Clarksville, Tenn and wake up EARLY Friday morning and finish the trip so i can make it for kick-off. Thats why 3:00 is critical so i can get beer, beer, and more beer, plus food!

If you're not drinking Jack, then you're doing it wrong. I'm off all weekend, so, Jack may be actually doing me wrong.

Start my vacation that day. Like Gator H8R I will also be stopping by Buds to get a order of the best around. Then getting with my closes friends to enjoy my nice brand new 50" TV. More than likely killing a bottle of skyy vodka along with a sh!t ton of red bull. Aug. 31st can't come soon enough my fellow VOL fans.

With saying that- is there any Vol fans that live in Overland Park/Leawood area? That's where i'll be moving too and would love to meet some new friends, espicially Vol friends! Go Vols!!!

Fly out late Thursday, get to Atlanta Friday morning aournd 7 a.m. meet up with some of my buddies who are driving down from Chattanooga, and we'll just kill time in the city until kickoff. Very excited for this game, first one I've been to since the 2007 TN VS Cal game.

Well for me it will be going to work, coming home, eating dinner, then connecting my PC up to my HDTV to stream the game since I don't have ESPNU!

Leaving DC at 11am. Get into ATL at 12:45. Check into the hotel then down to the Dome to visit all my orange clad friends.

I will be in Washington DC for my birthday but watching the game!! Any suggestions on a good place?

Leaving about noon from my dads house in Knoxville then headed south on I75. 5 of us in my buddies crew cab F150. Eat somewhere outside dome to eat better food for about same cost as inside. Infiltrate dome and rock it out and come home with a W. Well come home after a nights stay in a town above ATL.
